Lemon on French Cloth

$125

5 x 7 oil on archival panel

Yellow is one of my favorite colors to paint with and I love yellow paired with

french ultramarine blue. It just says french! It brings back such fond memories

of my 3 week trip to France back in the early 90's.

Wouldn't this look nice on a small easel in your kitchen! This painting and more are available

2013 "Strawberries" by Susie Morrell oil on panel measures 12"x12" with frame

The Linseed Oil mill, thought to be the best preserved oil mill in the Mid-Atlantic region, currently functions as an Art Gallery for local artists.

If you have some free time this weekend, it's worth a stop!  Not only will you see the Artsbridge member art exhibit, but the historic Prallsville Mill property located right on the canal offers a place to stop and stroll the tow path.  With the snow last weekend, I saw cross country skiers gliding along taking in the beauty of the season.  With the weather we have been having, you might need to throw some boots in the car!

in shades of red.

This photo was taken by Joey Randall, author and host of the #1 gardening blog
in Michigan, The Village Voice.  Joey is my aunt, friend and mentor in so
many ways.  She is a skilled photographer with a trained eye for capturing
all that is glorious in the garden from tiny budding ferns to majestic blooms of
color that captivate the artist's eye.  What's best is all her images are inspired
primarily from her own gardens both at home and at her lake cabin.  She and her
husband, Mike, travel back and forth throughout the year welcoming visitors to
their homes with warmth and cheer.  Joey maintains her informative blog called
The Village Voice which focuses on her favorite recipes, photographs and all
things Michigan!  If you want a visual experience on how the seasons come and
go in Michigan along with what is cooking in Joey's kitchen The Village Voice is
a must read on your blog list.
